The PECB Certified ISO 45001 Lead Auditor exam meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP).

The examination covers the following competency domains:

  • Fundamental audit concepts and principles
  • Preparing for an ISO 45001 audit

Successful completion of the exam validates the participant’s ability to audit occupational health and safety management systems according to internationally recognized standards and best practices.


Certification

Upon the successful completion of the exam, you can apply for one of the credentials shown in the table below. You will receive a certificate once you fulfill all the requirements related to the selected credential. The PECB ISO 45001 Auditor certification scheme has the following requirements:

To be considered valid, audit activities should follow recognized auditing best practices and include the following:

  • Conducting documented information review
  • Carrying out on-site audit activities

  • Certification and examination fees are included with the training course

  • A participation certificate of 31 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) credits will be issued
  • Candidates who do not pass the exam may retake it within 12 months at no additional cost
